Target audience- Certificate 15
Certificate 15 and over is a good age range to do as at that age they are teenagers and they like to socialise so if they see a new movie being shown as a trailer on the TV then they would watch it as they are always into new things. Teenagers more today like to go out with their friends, have a nice time and have time away just to do something fun instead of doing the work all the time. Again another reason of this range of age was because the fact that our group can relate to it and know what teenagers like as it is in our age range.
The target audience are at a age which do not need to pay for bills yet so this way they can use the money which they have to pay for tickets to see the movie. Also they don't have reponsibility as much as parents as they will not have to look after children, so they don't need to use their money on other people and just on their selves.
The movie is really good entertainment for our range of age, as for young people they wont be able to watch it as otherwise the movie would have to be PG and that would be no good as they would get scared and like any one would one a child crying through out the movie. Where as adults yes they can watch it as it is 15 and over. This way it hooks a wide range of people starting from the age of 15. Teenagers from 15 will always like the fact that there is a new horror,thriller movie out and they get to watch it as they are in the age range. When they watch the movie no doubt they will talk about it after they have watched it and spread it to other people this way it hooks more people into watching the movie.

The age range relates to our research as all the of the movies which we have researched have been certificate 15. Another reason we used certificate 15 was because of the fact that the characters are in the range of 15 and older as well but not too old as the oldest s in the 20's.
